Vic: Two teenagers injured in garage explosion

A teenage boy is in a Melbourne hospital in a serious condition .. with burns to 15
per cent of his body .. after an explosion in a suburban garage.

Ambulance officers says the accident happened about 12.30 (AEST) this afternoon at
a Seabrook house .. in Melbourne's south-west.

Paramedics say two boys .. believed to be about 13 .. were playing with petrol when
it caught fire and exploded.

One is in a serious condition in the Royal Children's hospital .. with burns mainly
to his face .. neck and arms.

The other teenager's been taken to the same hospital .. where he's being treated for
minor injuries.
