QLD:Newman begins sell job in regions
Queensland's new opposition leader CAMPBELL NEWMAN admits it's frustrating .. not being
able to participate when state parliament sits tomorrow.
He says it's a bit tricky not being in the engine room .. while leading the Liberal
National Party from the outside as he tries to win the Labor-held seat of Ashgrove.
But Mr NEWMAN's told the ABC that parliament is only a mechanism .. and there are other
ways to get his message out.
The former Brisbane lord mayor begins his mission to extend his reach beyond the southeast
corner .. with a tour of north Queensland starting tomorrow.
