Fed: Rudd govt rushes bills before parliament ends for 2008

The RUDD government's introducing 17 bills to parliament today .. the second last sitting
day of the year.

There'll be 13 bills for the lower house .. covering everything from aviation to workplace
relations and telecommunications interception .. and four for the upper house.

Parliament rises tomorrow for a two-month break.
