Qld: Crow causes power outage in Brisbane
About a thousand homes lost power in Brisbane this morning .. after a crow became tangled
in power lines.
An Energex spokesman says the bird hit overhead lines at Toowong about 8.30am (AEST)
.. knocking out power to residents in Indooroopilly and Toowong.
Energex crews have restored electricity to 900 homes .. and the other rest should be
back on line within the hour.
